Autopilot compatibility
Zora drives every supported pilot from the same buttons, translated into that brand's own commands, so the differences below are the whole of it.
An unrecognised autopilot is still listed on the boat, marked as not supported, so a unit that is wired and powered can be told from one that is not.

What the three answers mean
- Works with Zora. Zora drives this.
- Not supported. Zora cannot drive this. It is still visible on the bus.
- On the roadmap. Not built yet. It is on the list, with no date.
- Works, untested. Built, and not yet checked on a boat. Works, partly untested. The row names what has not been checked.
Raymarine Evolution
Works with Zora. Heading hold, wind hold, and 1° / 10° trim. Works on the bus as fitted.
Models: EV-1, EV-100, EV-150, EV-200, EV-400, SPX on NMEA 2000. Also called: evolution, evolution pilot, ev1, ev-1, acu-400, p70, spx10.
In the equipment catalogue as Raymarine EV-1 Sensor Core, part E70096, on SeaTalkNG / NMEA 2000.

What Zora does with it, claim by claim
Raymarine SmartPilot and SPX on SeaTalk1
Works with Zora. Heading hold, wind hold, and 1° / 10° trim, through a Raymarine E22158 converter with an install that is easy to get wrong.
Not yet tested on a boat: Zora engages wind hold.
Needs. A Raymarine SeaTalk1 to SeaTalkng converter (E22158). For wind hold: a wind instrument on the SeaTalk1 side of the converter.
Models: ST6001, ST7000+, S1, S2, S3, SPX-5, SPX-10, SPX-30. Also called: smartpilot, spx, st6001, st7000, st6000, seatalk autopilot, e22158.

Simrad AC42
Works with Zora. Heading hold, wind hold, and trim at any angle.
Needs. A control head commissioned into the AC42 on the bus, whose address Zora sends from; it is set on the server and has no screen yet.
Models: AC42, AP24, AP28, AP16, OP10. Also called: ac42, simrad ac42, op10, ap24, ap28.

Navico NAC — Simrad, B&G and Lowrance
Works with Zora. Heading hold, wind hold, and trim at any angle. An engaged pilot shows as heading hold whatever its mode.
Not yet tested on a boat.
Models: NAC-2, NAC-3, AP44, AP48. Also called: simrad, b&g, bandg, lowrance, nac-2, nac-3, ap44, ap48, h5000.
Garmin Reactor
Works with Zora. Heading hold, wind hold, and 1° / 10° trim.
Needs. The GHC control head switched on, since with it off no command from Zora takes effect.
Models: GHP Reactor, Reactor 40, GHC 20, GHC 50. Also called: reactor, reactor 40, ghc 20, ghc 50, garmin pilot.

Garmin GHP 20
Works with Zora. Heading hold and trim at any angle. Wind hold is in Zora and has not been tried on a boat.
Not yet tested on a boat: Zora engages wind hold.
Models: GHP 20, GHC 10. Also called: ghp20, ghp 20, ghc 10.

Simrad AP70 and AC70
Not supported. Steering on this generation runs over Robnet2, and no steering command is accepted from NMEA 2000. Visible in Zora, not drivable from it.
Models: AP70, AP70 MK2, AP80, AP60, AC70. Also called: ap70, ac70, ap80, robnet, robnet2, commercial simrad.
Furuno NavPilot
On the roadmap. Seen on the bus and not drivable yet. Its commands are undocumented, and one recording from a boat is what it takes.
Models: NavPilot 300, NavPilot 700, NavPilot 711C, NavPilot 720, NavPilot 1000. Also called: navpilot, furuno pilot, 711c, navpilot 700.
Autopilots on NMEA 0183 only
Not supported. Zora has no way to drive a pilot over NMEA 0183.
Models: any pilot with no NMEA 2000 or SeaTalk1 port. Also called: 0183 autopilot, nmea autopilot, apb.
An autopilot that is not on this page
An autopilot that is not listed here is unknown, not incompatible. This page says what has been checked, and nothing has been checked about the rest.
Contact support with the make and the model. Where it is a unit nobody here has seen, we can arrange a session aboard to record what it puts on the bus and work out what Zora can do with it. That is how most of the families on this page got here.
