Chartplotter compatibility
Zora is meant to replace the chartplotter, and a boat can get there in steps.
Start with the Zora server and the tablets already on board, which run Zora in their browser. The plotter stays at the helm. Zora reads its GPS, depth, wind and route data like any other instrument on the NMEA 2000 backbone, and ranks them against the boat's other sources. It sends nothing back for the plotter to show, apart from apparent wind on a boat whose wind instrument is not on NMEA 2000.
When the plotter is due for replacement, a Zora Mini PC takes its place and drives up to three screens: IP67 touchscreens at the helm and in the cockpit, readable in direct sun, and any monitor below.

What the three answers mean
- Works with Zora. Zora drives this.
- Not supported. Zora cannot drive this. It is still visible on the bus.
- On the roadmap. Not built yet. It is on the list, with no date.
- Works, untested. Built, and not yet checked on a boat. Works, partly untested. The row names what has not been checked.
Raymarine Axiom and eS series
Works with Zora. Seen on the bus on two boats. What it sends has not been recorded yet. With a Raymarine radar, the plotter is the one that hands out network addresses.

B&G Zeus and Vulcan
Works with Zora. Its GPS, wind and depth are read. It also relays an H5000's performance data onto the bus, which Zora drops, and a Vulcan with no transducer on its sounder sends a fixed 504 m depth that must be ranked below the real sounder.

Simrad NSS, NSO and GO
Works with Zora. Not yet seen on a boat with Zora.

Garmin GPSMAP
Works with Zora. Its data is read. With no speed transducer fitted it can send an impossible water speed, so the boat's GPS must rank first for speed. It also powers the Garmin radar network.

Furuno GP-1670F
Works with Zora. Sends only the data groups switched on in its own NMEA 2000 output menu. With only the navigation group on, Zora gets the log and the active route, and no position, depth or heading.
