RayNet radar
A Raymarine network radar sends its picture over Ethernet, through Raymarine's round RayNet connector. Zora reads it on the server's radar port. With an adapter cable and an Ethernet switch, a Raymarine display and Zora can read the same radar side by side.

Before you start
- The radar port. Zora looks for the radar on one port only: ETH1 on Server V3, ETH2 (the 100 Mbps port) on Server V2. A radar on the other port, or reaching Zora through the boat's router, is never found. See Network / TCP / UDP.
- Addresses on the radar network. The radar takes its network address from a DHCP server. With a Raymarine display on the radar network, the display hands out the addresses and Zora must not; with no display, Zora has to. Tell iNav4U support which one the boat has before the first power-up, so the radar port is set up to match.
The adapters
RayNet uses a round, waterproof connector that fits no RJ45 socket. One of these Raymarine cables brings it to standard Ethernet:

Wire it
- Unplug the radar's RayNet cable from the back of the Raymarine display.
- Fit an A80159 or A80247 to the radar cable, so it ends in a standard RJ45.
- Plug it into an Ethernet switch. A 12 V marine or industrial switch stands up to a boat better than a household one.
- Connect the display's RayNet port to the same switch, with a RayNet to RJ45 cable.
- Connect the server's radar port to the same switch.
The display and Zora both read the radar through the switch, at the same time.
Check the radar
Power up the radar and open Radar in Zora. The radar is found on its own, with nothing to set in Setup.
