Notification and assistance
Zora watches the boat on the boat itself, and tells you what needs your attention. This page explains where those notifications come from, how one reaches your phone, and what the Setup app's three assistance cards are for. To enter the addresses and numbers, see Notifications Settings.
Rules on the boat
A set of rules ships with Zora and checks the vessel data all the time, with or without internet. They cover a dragging anchor or mooring, the accuracy of the GPS fix, the autopilot leaving its heading or wind limits, reaching a waypoint, the barometer, and the main unit's own temperature and disk space. Each one raises an ordinary Zora notification on every screen.

From the boat to your phone
A notification leaves the boat only in Away mode. Then each alarm goes out on the channels you switched on for it, email or SMS, and never just because of its level. The message goes to every address and number in Notifications Settings, through the iNav4U cloud, so the boat needs internet to send it.

The assistance cards in Setup
The Zora Setup home screen has three cards for this, all marked coming soon and greyed out:
