Mini PC

The Mini PC drives the boat's fixed screens. It finds the Zora main unit on the boat's network and opens Zora on every screen connected to it. Install the main unit first: Main Unit V3 or Main Unit V2. Specifications and the supply voltage are in the Mini PC hardware reference.

Connect it

1. Connect up to three screens to the HDMI outputs. For a touchscreen, also connect its USB cable to the Mini PC. The touch input travels over USB, so without that cable the screen shows Zora but does not respond to touch.
2. Connect a LAN port to the same network as the main unit. The Mini PC finds Zora by asking on its own network, so a Mini PC on another network never finds it by itself.
3. For a screen without touch, plug a keyboard and mouse into USB, or pair Bluetooth ones later from the Mini PC's setup screen, under Bluetooth, Manage.
4. Wire DC power to the terminal on the rear. If the Mini PC shares a supply with a Main Unit V3, keep that supply within the V3's range, 9.6 to 28.8 V.
5. Press the power button on the front.

How it finds Zora

Until it finds the main unit, the screens show the iNav4U website, or Zora Server Offline if the boat has no internet. The Mini PC keeps asking every few seconds, and when the main unit answers, every screen switches to Zora by itself.

If the main unit stops answering for about a minute and a half, for example because the router gave it a new address, the Mini PC starts asking again and finds it at its new address.

Pair it by hand

If the screens stay on the iNav4U website or on Zora Server Offline with the main unit running on the same network, point the Mini PC at Zora yourself:

1. On a laptop or tablet on the boat's network, open the Setup app and tap Stations & Monitors. It lists the Mini PCs it finds on the network. If yours is missing, tap Rescan.
2. Tap Setup on the Mini PC. Its own setup screen opens.
3. In Server URL, type http:// followed by the main unit's address, for example http://192.168.1.95.
4. Tap Save Changes.

If it does not work

Both of these screens show the Mini PC's own address under Local IP.
