Get help ​

The guides ​

Tap help in the app bar to open Zora Help at the page for the screen you are on; many dialogs have a help button of their own. When the boat has internet, Zora Help shows the guides from inav4u.com/guides. Without internet it shows the copy downloaded to the boat.

Keep the guides on board ​

Download the guides to the boat, so help works with no internet.

  1. Tap the Zora logo in the app bar and choose Settings....
  2. Under System, tap Help Guide Update.
  3. If the guides were never downloaded, tap install. If a new version is waiting, its size is shown: tap download. Stay on the screen until it says The Guides are up to date.

check again looks for a newer version. force new download downloads the guides again even when they are up to date. Both need internet.

Long-pressing help in the app bar goes straight to Help Guide Update. A red dot on the help button means the guides have never been downloaded to the boat; an orange new badge means a newer version is available.

Get support ​

Send a question, a problem or feedback to the iNav4U team without leaving Zora.

  1. Tap the Zora logo in the app bar and choose Get support.... The Contact support form opens.
  2. Fill it in:
    • Subject: a short headline.
    • The message box, How can we help?: what happened, what you expected, and when it started.
    • Your email for reply: where the answer should go.
  3. Tap save.

Your message goes to the iNav4U support team, with a copy to your email. Zora adds what support needs to follow it up: the software version, the boat and user names, the screen you were on and the display's recent log. Feedback Sent means it has gone. If the boat has no internet, Zora says Feedback Saved, keeps the message and keeps trying until it is sent.

Open a new message for each new issue, so that each one can be followed on its own.

Fill in your reply email once ​

The reply email is empty until your crew profile has one. To have Zora fill it in from then on:

  1. Log out, so the login screen shows.
  2. Long-press your avatar.
  3. On the user tab, enter your email, then close the dialog. Closing it saves the change.
