Round Button ​

A switch drawn as a round button with its icon inside and the label beside it. The button lights in its Button Color when the circuit is on. While a command is on its way, a spinner takes the icon's place. If the command fails, the reason shows in red under the label, for example No response from data-link.

A screen that held the older rectangular icon button now shows it as a Round Button, with the same settings.

Add it ​

In edit mode, tap Add Content, open the switches tab and choose Round Button. It needs at least 7 by 3 cells, starts with a power icon and starts in Toggle mode.

On the DESIGN tab, Button Size is Small, Medium or Large.

Settings ​

See Widget settings. The switch widget has these tabs:

  • DESIGN: Button Style, the size, Button Color (Primary, Info, Warning, Alarm or Success), and a Preview. Changing Button Style turns this widget into another of the four switch styles and keeps its size.
  • INFO: label and label 2, the two lines of text.
  • ICON: the icon.
  • SWITCH: Button Mode, below, and Connection Type, the equipment the button drives. The switches themselves are set up once, in the Setup app; see Switches.
  • DATALINK: only for connections that need a value to show whether the circuit is on.

Button modes ​
