7 Segment ​

The 7 Segment widget shows one number in large digital digits, the way an instrument display does. Use it for a value you want to read from across the cockpit: depth, speed, a voltage.

What it shows ​

  • Your label at the top left, with an icon before it if you chose one.
  • The unit at the top right.
  • The value, as large as the tile allows. Decimals are drawn smaller than the whole number.

The digits take the colour of the value's state. They turn red when no data arrives, and grey when the value is out of range. ... means there is no value yet.

Add it to a screen ​

In Edit Mode, open the sensors numbers group and tap 7 Segment. It arrives 6 columns wide and 3 rows high.

Set it up ​

Open the widget's settings. The form has three tabs.

  • INFO: label left is the text at the top left. Label Color sets the colour of the label, its icon and the unit.
  • ICON: an icon to show before the label.
  • DATALINK: the value to show, with its unit and number of decimals. This widget shows numbers only. See A widget's data link.

Apply saves the widget.
