About Widgets

Widgets are the tiles your screens are built from: a value, a gauge, a switch, a camera, a chart. You choose them, place them and size them on your own screens and on the DNS layouts.

To put a widget on a screen, move it or resize it, use edit mode. See Add a widget and Move, resize and set up a widget.

Widget settings

1. In edit mode, tap the widget to select it, then tap it again.
2. Choose settings. The Settings sheet opens.
3. Make your changes on its tabs, then tap Apply. Cancel closes the sheet without saving.

Settings you apply are kept straight away, even if you then cancel edit mode.

Which tabs a widget has depends on the widget. Most value widgets have these three. Each widget's page in the widget library lists its own.

INFO

The labels, and the options that belong to this widget.

ICON

Icons sorted by category. Tap one and it shows beside Selected Icon.

DATALINK

The value the widget shows. Under Select the data source, pick one level at a time until Zora says Data-link established!. clear data-link unhooks the widget. See A widget's data link for the whole tab.
