Light Circle ​

The Light Circle draws a coloured dot on a transparent background. Link it to a light and it shows while the light is on and disappears when it is off. Placed over a picture of the boat, it shows a light such as the anchor light.

Adding it to a screen ​

In edit mode, the widget is Light Circle in the lights group. It can be as small as one cell. See Edit Mode.

Configuring it ​

A Preview shows the dot as you change it.

  • INFO
    • Circle Size: from 0.1 to 0.9. It starts at 0.3.
    • Size Factor: from 0.1 to 2 times the size above.
    • Horizontal Position and Vertical Position: move the dot up to 50 pixels either way inside the widget.
  • COLORS
    • Light Color: pick one of the swatches (white, yellow, red, green) or any colour.
    • Glow Effect: On or Off. It starts On.
  • DATALINK: the light that switches the dot. A new dot has no data link and always shows. Its settings start on the anchor light, which becomes the link when you save them. The settings open while the light is off. See Data link.
