Light Arc Sector ​

The Light Arc Sector draws a coloured slice of a circle on a transparent background. Link it to a light and it shows while the light is on and disappears when it is off. Placed over a picture of the boat, it draws a navigation light's sector.

Adding it to a screen ​

In edit mode, the widget is Light Arc Sector in the lights group. It can be as small as one cell. See Edit Mode.

Configuring it ​

A Preview shows the sector as you change it.

  • INFO
    • Arc Angle (degrees): how wide the sector is. It starts at 112.5.
    • Rotation (0° = up): where the sector starts, clockwise from the top of the widget.
    • Horizontal Position and Vertical Position: move the sector up to 50 pixels either way inside the widget.
    • Size Factor: from 0.1 to 2 times the normal size.
  • COLORS
    • Light Color: pick one of the swatches (white, yellow, red, green) or any colour.
    • Opacity: from 0.1 to 1. It starts at 0.7.
    • Glow Effect: On or Off. It starts On.
  • DATALINK: the light that switches the sector. A new sector has no data link and always shows. Its settings start on the masthead light, which becomes the link when you save them. The settings open while the light is off. See Data link.
