Vessel Map ​

The Vessel Map widgets put the plan of your boat, deck by deck, on any screen, with a marker for each piece of equipment you have placed on it. They show the same map as the Vessel Map screen. There are two, both in the systems group.

The deck plans are added once, in the Setup app. Until then the widget reads No vessel map available.

Vessel Map ​

Vessel Map arrives 8 columns wide and 8 rows high. It shows the markers of the asset or folder you last opened in Equipment, or every marker at All.

  • The deck buttons along the top are numbered from 0. The number on a button says how many markers sit on that deck. Tap a deck to show it.
  • Drag to move around the plan; pinch or scroll to zoom.
  • Tap a marker to see its name and description.

Vessel Map with System Selector ​

Vessel Map with System Selector arrives 12 columns wide and 12 rows high. It has a bar of its own at the top, so it can show a different part of the boat from the one open in Equipment.

Tap the tree icon at the left of the bar to pick an asset or folder. The bar then shows the path to it, and the map shows its markers.

Its settings can lock it to one place on the INFO tab:

  • Fixed System Path: tap the tree icon and pick an asset or folder. The widget then always shows that one, and its bar no longer changes. Clear the field to choose in the widget again.
  • Fixed Deck (select "selectable" to show deck selector): pick a deck to keep the widget on it. The other deck buttons are greyed out. Pick selectable to choose the deck in the widget again.

Apply saves the widget.

Add one to a screen ​

In Edit Mode, open the systems group and tap Vessel Map or Vessel Map with System Selector.
