Gauge Linear ​

The Gauge Linear shows one number as a bar that fills from a minimum to a maximum. The bar runs across the widget or up it.

Adding it to a screen ​

In edit mode, the widget is Gauge Linear in the sensors numbers group. It is 3 by 3 cells at the smallest. See Edit Mode.

Configuring it ​

  • INFO
    • label: the name shown with the value.
    • min and max: the values at which the bar is empty and full, in the unit the widget shows. They are 0 and 15 until you set them.
    • direction: horizontal or vertical.
    • bar-width: how thick the bar is, 3, 6, 9 or 15.
  • DATALINK: the value to show, with its unit, decimals and dampening. The tab accepts numbers only. See Data link.

Reading the widget ​

  • horizontal: the label on the left and the value on the right, the bar below them, and min and max under the bar.
  • vertical: the value on top, the bar with max and min beside it, and the label at the bottom.

The bar takes the colour of the value's alarm zone. When the data has a problem, a short message such as no data or timeout appears in that colour. ... means no value has arrived yet.
